The Locke and Logie buildings at Canterbury University form part of the original campus buildings.

The buildings are being reconfigured and refreshed as the home for the College of the Arts. The Elsie Locke and James Logie buildings at the University of Canterbury’s Ilam Campus are undergoing an internal refurbishment to modernise the spaces and to accommodate all of Human Services, Social Work, Pasifika and Sociology into the buildings creating an Arts Precinct. A full room by room condition report was undertaken, working with its users to ensure the redeveloped spaces met their needs.
